Lately I've been
having fun in school, but I have experienced some things in language arts
class. I don’t know about everyone else but I've been impacted in a lot
of ways. From happy to sad the more I've learned about THE HOLOCAUST.
First we read a paper about Hitler and what the holocaust was about then we
read the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas after that we had to get a
holocaust book from the library, read it and make 3 projects from it. After all
of this The Boy in the Striped Pajamas made me learn new things and open
up my eyes to see that it’s not all about today, and how it’s going to turn out,
it’s about how the past made this day turn into what is happening now. The boy
in striped pajamas had me on the edge of my seat, sad, excited, worried, and
having a mind that is always thinking about the next chapter. The book was about
a little boy (Bruno) who had to move to Auschwitz because his father was a
commandant and Bruno was very sad (isn't every kid worried when u have to move
and you don’t know why). Then on his adventures of living there he learns why he’s
there and what is going on, he learns about the Jews and holocaust. But on the
way he takes an adventure like no little boy would ever do. He goes to where
the Jews were at and he sees a little boy who becomes his friend but it’s
a different kind of friendship neither of them know how to express, they figure
out they have the same birthday. Bruno was just so excited about that because
he didn’t ever have a friend that had the same birthday as him since he moved
to Auschwitz. Their friendship is a kind of friendship that they have to sit on
opposite sides of a fence to “hang out”. Bruno doesn’t like the fact that they can’t
hang out or "play" when Bruno figures out more about how the
holocaust works Bruno starts bringing Shmuel food and understanding why the way
their friendship is working but not completely. One day Shmuel talks Bruno into
going on the other side. He becomes one of the Jews by acting like one. Shmuel
brings Bruno striped pajamas and since Bruno had to shave his head because he
had lice from living in such a dirty place. Bruno looked exactly like the Jews
(just a little fuller). Once he got on
the other side he decided he wanted to go back home but when he wanted to go he
realized he could never leave after the soldiers make them go on a march (It’s
not a good one that is for schools or a parade it’s a march to no return)! The holocaust
really change my perspective about things and how I see my life.

Get a little Mud on the Tires (P)
Have you ever felt that one rush of fun, fast, and getting dirty!? Well if you haven't this is where you'll know how it feels. I have 10 Acres and I love to get on my 4-wheeler and dirt bike. I go riding every chance I get. It’s that feeling of rush you get to go a little faster, every gear you can go, and know you'll go a little faster. Sometimes it’s even fun to wreck… most of the time! I enjoy riding with others, I prefer riding with others than just by myself because if I get into a serious wreck I won’t have anyone there to help me. Also if I do ride by myself I pretend that I’m on a professional dirt track! “I’m faster than speed!” Even sometimes I act like there are zombies chasing after me! I love to read dirt rider magazine with my dad and little sister because there is cool stories on races, awesome clothes, and helmets. My dad was the one who taught me how to ride my motorcycle and quad. I have an 1980 dirt bike it has 4 gears and they are supper fast. Then I have a 1996 blue automatic quad. My dad has 6 more dirt bikes and 2 more quads that are mostly broke down because we ride so much! My dad taught me how to jump my quad. That very first time I wanted to jump our dirt jump I had to try 2 times. Then I was enjoy the thrill, I was so scared then I am confident in myself now because I know ill make it! The only thing I cant jump is my dirt bike because I’m a little scared but trust me I will! I love it when my dad, uncle, my dads friend,my friend , and I are all are out in the field riding and racing each other well by that time I’m done we all have dirt in our nose and all over our face and clothes. It’s a lot of fun while its raining and when the mud is wet because you slide and mostly you get dirty! This is my passion and ill do it till the day I die!
